***When you get an email notification from HP, do not ignore it ***

Get to work on it right away. It takes 1-2 days to remove items off the web.

Etilize creates the search engine. They maintain your Econtent. They are aware of all these rules.

#1 Question after getting this Non-Compliant Notification is “How or why did this happen?”

1.    Old, discontinued items are still on the web.  Etilize removed Econtent on discontinued items.

2.    Quarterly updates do mark items as discontinued but if they discontinue an item during the interim months, we are not notified.

3.    We recommend using the Vendor Price File Updater to mark the discontinued items as part of your month-end procedures.  It is fast and very easy.

 

#2 How to Identify Non-Compliant Items.

1.    Search for 3 things:  HP Toner, HP Ink, HP Printers

2.    Look for items with no pictures, no switch-n-save, 1st in search

3.    Use the Refine Results options such as Miscellaneous to find Non-Compliant items.

4.    Items with Prefix “NSN” will not have Econtent unless you are an authorized Ability One dealer.  You must notify us if you are authorized.  We will turn on the Econtent.

5.    Wait for Overnight web sync. Do search all over again to see if you missed anything.

 

Compliance Rules:

1.    HEW items must have pictures

2.    HEW items must be 1st in search

3.    Cannot show Switch-N-Save on HEW items

4.    Generics must have Alternate or Replacement. Cannot say Equivalent
