SSI Tray 1.2.0 — Download and Setup
SSI Tray 1.2.0 for Windows
Current release: October 20, 2026
Download
Portable option: Download Zipped file above. Extract the entire ZIP before running SSI-Tray.exe. Keep SSI Logo.png in the same folder as the executable.
What's new
- Save separate named connection profiles, such as Live and Test.
- Switch profiles after disconnecting. SSI Tray runs one connection at a time so local tunnel ports do not conflict.
- Troubleshooting logs rotate automatically and are stored in
%APPDATA%\ssi-tray\logs\ssi-tray.log. - Tunnel port conflicts now produce a connection error.
Existing connection settings are imported into a Live profile on first run. Configuration remains in %APPDATA%\ssi-tray\config.json.
Install and use
- Download and run the installer, or extract the portable ZIP to a folder on your PC.
- Open SSI Tray from the desktop or Start menu after installation, or run
SSI-Tray.exefrom the portable folder. - Enter your SSI SSH connection settings and select Connect.
- To use another saved profile, select Disconnect first, then choose the profile and reconnect.
The installer includes PuTTY for the Terminal button. With the portable ZIP, the Terminal button needs ssish.exe or putty.exe placed beside SSI-Tray.exe. Normal connection and tunnel use do not need either program.
For the earlier walkthrough, see SSI Tray How To.
Send troubleshooting logs to SSI Support
If SSI Tray has a connection problem, reproduce it and note the time and the profile name (for example, Live or Test). Then close SSI Tray.
- Press Win+R and paste
%APPDATA%\ssi-tray\logs. - Select the files named
ssi-tray.logandssi-tray.log.1through.4if present. Right-click and choose Compress to ZIP file (or Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder). - Attach the ZIP to your SSI support ticket. Include the time, profile name, and any error message or screenshot.
Please send the files from the logs folder only. Do not send config.json; it contains saved connection credentials. If there is no logs folder, open SSI Tray 1.2.0 or later, reproduce the problem, and try again.
